Tour starts 8:00 am in the city of Windhoek. Our starts by visiting the old beer brewery, which is in no longer in use, but many crafts markets were opened here. We start by exploring the diamond shop and the rest of the markets. Next stop will be the famous Church of Christ church which was build by the Germans in 1907. We then head to the parliament of Namibia to learn more about the history of the country.
We leave the busy city life as we head to Katutura, here we will visit the famous market Oshetu. If you are interested in the traditional food and clothes this will be the best place to go.
Our last stop we will be Penduka an organization designed to help the disadvantage women who cannot see, hear or talk. At this place this where they manufacture and craft souvenirs which are sold in Namibia and countries abroad. As you drive back you will pass through the informal settlement and see the “ugly side of Windhoek”.
