The Maasai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to comprehend, over 450 species of animals have been recorded here! It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

You will be picked up in your Nairobi hotel or airport and begin your drive through the floor of the Great Rift Valley, while stopping on the way to admire the breathtaking views of the escarpment. Proceed to Maasai Mara, after check-in and late lunch, you have some time to relax, before you go for a first game drive. At sunset you come back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

You will easily spot lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna.

Day 2:  Maasai Mara – Full day game drives and photography

After breakfast proceed for a full day of game viewing at the Maasai Mara Reserve. Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is 1510km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Full day game drives and photography

Enjoy a full day game viewing with picnic lunch on the Mara River over-looking the Hippo Pools and the savannah.
In addition to the game drive offerings you can also decide to take an optional hot air balloon ride (US$450 per person); or visit a local Maasai village (US$30 per person). Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

You will wake up today for an early breakfast. After breakfast you will head for the morning game drive till mid-morning, return to the camp where you will pick up your luggage and leave for Nairobi. You will arrive in the evening and transferred to your hotel or the airport.
