DAY 1. ABERDARES

0900 Hrs. Pick up from Nairobi hotel and drive to North of Kenya to the Aberdares National Park (165 km). Arrive in time for lunch at Aberdares Country Lodge. Lunch and later in the afternoon drive in to the park for game drive. Check in at the Ark for dinner and overnight.

Aberdares National Park, in the central highlands about 14,000 feet (4,300 meters) above sea level and very cool. It is covered with marshlands and bamboo and rainforests way make for roaring waterfalls, icy streams and breezy mountain peaks. The park is known for the “Big Five” game – the African elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, lion, and black rhinoceros – as well as baboons, Sykes and colobus monkeys, and even the bongo antelope.

DAY 2. LAKE NAKURU

0800 Hrs. After breakfast, check out with game drive en route to Lake Nakuru National park. Arrive with game drive in the park. Lunch and later in the afternoon game drive in the park till evening.
Lake Nakuru National Park, named for its breath-taking blue-green lake. This freshwater treasure

may appear to be trimmed by pink sand beaches, but the shoreline’s rosy hues are in fact owed to the optical illusion of millions of flamingos. Lake Nakuru is the best bird watching paradise. It has approximately 450 bird species, including water birds and terrestrial species, make their home here. The park’s bush grasslands and yellow acacia woodlands is the home to the big game, like white and black rhinos, endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, baboons, and buffalo

DAY 3. MAASAI MARA

0700 Hrs. After breakfast, check out and drive to Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge.

1230 Hrs. Lunch will be provided and afternoon at Leisure

1600 Hrs. Afternoon game drive in the reserve till late in the evening.

Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge.

Maasai Mara is known as one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. The name mara was drived from Maasai description of the area when looked at from afar: “Mara,” which is Maa (Maasai language) for “spotted,” an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savanna, and cloud shadows that mark the area. It is famous for the abundance of big cats – lion, leopard and cheetah – the great migration and the Maasai people. It has more than 1.500 km2, stretching over large open grasslands and acacia forests, the Maasai Mara offers the opportunity to view some of the worlds most ancient and most threatened creatures.

DAY 4. MAASAI MARA

0600 Hrs. (Optional Balloon ride at an Extra cost). Followed by Balloon Bush breakfast.

0630 Hrs. Early morning game drive in the reserve

0830 Hrs. Return to lodge for breakfast and relax at Leisure.

1300 Hrs. Lunch will be served at your Lodge.

1600 Hrs. Afternoon game drive in the reserve to return in the evening. All meals at your Lodge.

DAY 5. NAIROBI

0700 Hrs. After breakfast check out and drive to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi mid day and transfer to your
