The visitors will get an experience of a life time by visiting Rwanda and tracking the only remaining mountain gorillas in volcanoes national parks which is also a thrilling adventure. More so, gorilla trekking in Rwanda can be quite tiresome but greatly rewarding when you finally get into close view of one of the families of these giant primates.

Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park – 1st day
The company guide will pick you up and will give you a briefing about the safari. You will then transfer to Kigali city to enjoy a city tour. Visit the genocide memorial museum, the Nyabugogo market, a pottery project, the Moslem quarter in Nyamirambo and the Franco-Rwanda cultural center. Then you will have lunch and later drive North of Kigali to volcanoes national park.

Gorilla Trekking – 2nd day
Have your breakfast and after, transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing at exactly 8:00, you will then need to carry packed lunch since you will spend most of the time in the jungle searching for the mountain gorillas. The time you will spend tracking the gorillas is unpredictable and it may take as few as only 2 hours on a good day yet it may even take you 8 hours before you meet these great apes. This period taken depends on their movement on the previous day. When you finally find the gorillas, you will have to spend an hour watching them play and eat foliage as you take photographs. It is truly a thrilling experience of a lifetime. More so, in case you complete the gorilla tracking early, you can chose to relax and have a drink at the nearby hotels near the park or you can take an optional cultural tour so as to have an opportunity to interact with the friendly local people.

Golden monkey tour & Transfer back to Kigali city – 3rd day
Wake up early in the morning after your breakfast, and go for Golden Monkey Trekking after you will head to kigali city which makes this the end of your gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda. you will either be dropped to your hotel in Kigali or at the airport to catch your departure flight.
